Phil Chalmers, considered America?s leading authority on juvenile homicide, will be one of the presenters during a two-day juvenile homicide super seminar at Cowley College March 19-20.
Arkansas City and Cowley College were fortunate to earn the right to host the seminar.
?I am really excited for this opportunity, as there will only be three of these seminars available nationwide,? said Matt Stone, director of security and public safety at Cowley College.
On day one of the seminar, Chalmers will conduct his ?Why Teens Kill? juvenile homicide seminar. Chalmers has interviewed more than 200 teen killers and school shooters, along with numerous serial killers, mass murderers, and sexual predators. The reason for these interviews is to delve into the minds of the offenders, and to explore why they killed, and if society could have stopped them.On day two of the seminar, popular speaker Lt. Col. Dave Grossman will be conducting his ?Bulletproof Mind and Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill? talk. Grossman is one of the world's foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crime.
The class runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, and the cost for this class is $199 per person. To get tickets, go to www.philchalmers.com, fill out the registration form, and enter your credit card information, or choose the option of bringing a check to the training. The check needs to be payable to Phil Chalmers, and should be in the amount of $199.
