Communications Manager (International) ? All jobs (page 1)

Create and manage delivery of a comprehensive communications plan for Global Business Services (GBS) in line with the Group Internal Communications (IC) standard and operating framework including:
- Understand, identify and analyse the business needs of different stakeholder groups
- Identify key content and messages that need to be communicated aligned with the GBS strategy and future roadmap
- Identify and select communications approach (i.e what channels to use)
- Identify resources required to deliver the different communications
- Clarify accountabilities and process to ensure consistency of message, while enabling local tailoring and delivery of communications
- Develop overall plan and rhythm for communications delivery
- Develop a measurement approach to assess effectiveness of communications
- Develop feedback loop

Select effectively from the suite of Internal Communications (IC) services and channels available to create a tool kit of central communications materials (clear written messages, videos, webpages, presentation packs etc.)

Manage execution of major GBS communications i.e Group Leader communications and major events incl. road-shows ? managing to tight deadlines and within budget

Provide leadership, support and guidance to the various executors of local communications including the leadership and communications experts in different businesses and functions ? e.g. in each transformation project such as IST, tax, upstream finance, etc; and in the GBS organisation itself.

Build / maintain strong relationships with BP communications network and ensure that all communications activity is aligned with group level internal communications expectations

Advise and influence senior GBS leaders on enhancing internal communications, facilitating two-way dialogue between all levels of leadership and employees as appropriate
- Undertake the annual planning cycle for GBS IC
- Support the use of measurement (Pulse Survey) to gauge messaging effectiveness and use feedback to implement changes to communication approach
- Working with Internal Communications in each of the BSCs, ensure consistent and standard communications frameworks are deployed in all BSCs, specifically relating to service delivery performance, HSSE performance, customer value created, compliance and risk management, and GBS Employee Value Proposition
